EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND LIABILITY RELEASE AGREEMENT: By signing and/or using articles provided by Peddlers 30A, LLC (“Peddlers”), customer acknowledges that he or she assumes all responsibility and liability for injuries to persons or damages to property associated herein. Customer shall defend, indemnify against, and hold Peddlers 30A, LLC (“Peddlers”) and employees harmless from any and all claims arising out of the Customers use or use of provided articles by themselves or others, express or implied. Customer authorizes any charges for damaged, lost or stolen items that may occur even if the customer is not present. Customer authorizes Peddlers 30A, LLC (“Peddlers”) to charge the credit card on file for any and all damages and/or late, lost, or stolen articles provided to the customer (up to $450 per item), including bikes, helmets, baskets, locks, etc., as deemed appropriate by Peddlers 30A, LLC (“Peddlers”). If customer fails to return rented equipment by the agreed upon end time, customer also agrees that they will be charged for any additional time the item is missing. Florida state law states that when operating a bike between Sundown and Sunrise, bikes must be equipped with lights. If you plan to operate bicycles at night, Peddlers30A offers lights for purchase in addition to your rental. State law also states that cyclists under the age of 16 wear a helmet. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that anyone in their party adheres to state regulation. Peddlers30A is PCI compliant and customer authorizes Peddlers30A to charge for the previously noted reasons related to rental items, even if the card is not present at the time of said transaction. Peddlers30A does not offer any weather-related refunds and does not offer refunds for early returns. You agree to receive SMS and email from Peddlers and commonly owned businesses. Stolen Bike Policy:
When a bike is reported missing or stolen, the customer will be charged for the replacement cost of the item (see cost list below). Once the customer has been charged they are entitled to a replacement bike at no additional cost for the remainder of their original rental period. If the bike is found and returned to Peddlers30A and in the same condition it was when it was originally within the original rental period the customer is entitled to a full refund of the lost bike charge. If the bike is found outside of the original rental period the customer will be charged $10 for each additional day the bike is missing (deducted from the lost bike charge). If any amount remains of the replacement cost of the lost bicycle, the customer is entitled to this amount being refunded. (i.e. a bike is lost and has a replacement cost of $300, this bike is found 10 days after the original end date of the rental, customer can receive $200 from the lost bike deposit).

Additional Disclaimers:
Lock your bike, all adult bikes come equipped with a bike lock. Locked bikes do not get stolen. If you have questions about how to operate your lock properly please contact Peddlers30A or talk with one of our staff at the store.
Beginning in 2025, Walton County Sheriff’s office will be removing any “abandoned” bikes in roadways or in the scenic 30A right of Way. If Peddlers30A has to recover your bike from the sheriff’s office the customer will be responsible for a $30 impound pickup fee.
If a customer bike is impounded by any HOA or neighborhood association, the customer will be responsible for the cost of Peddlers30A recovery of our property. Charges range from $20 to $150 and is determined by the neighborhood HOA and not by Peddlers30A.
